Re: Does anyone know this truck?

some of the 1970s/80s kenworth trucks had roll up back windows. they wern't all that complicated really just a track and a door roller assy.
For somthing like the pic you would likely want a power unit. I have seen some pretty narrow set ups for streetrods.

Re: Does anyone know this truck?

Take a look at the Toyota trucks, they have a rear window that is a vertical electric.
Apply a bit of hot rod magic to one, and make it work for you

Re: Does anyone know this truck?

This was in a 54 at GG last weekend, he said he just used channel and window felt and an extra electric window motor. Laid it out on a bench first then welded it in.

Yeah, couple of hours on a Saturday! I see major mods to the window frame from an outtie to and innie. Once you had that done would not be much more than converting to one piece in the doors except for fabing the supporting frame. Still is a neat idea. Mercs in the early 60's had them too, and I think some 30's autos.

Re: Does anyone know this truck?

this power window regulator is out of an 06 durango, but is similar to any scissors type regulator.
this will raise and lower a window like that straight and level.
i set it up on a board to figure out the mounting points.
these are the same ones i used for my door glass
