'71 Got some new shoes
So I also went the cheap route as have so many with cast wheels, and finally bought a set of Ridler 695's matte gray in 18x8 4.75" bs and 20x10 5.5" bs. When I opened the box, I was really surprised, they look amazing in person. I know they're "played out" or whatever but I can't get over how great they look on these trucks. I paid $680 shipped with new lug nuts and valve stems. As soon as the UPS guy dropped them off, I went to discount tire to order the rubbers. I'm going with a 245/45r18 for the front and 275/40r20 on the rear. I saw a set with 245/40r18's on the front but thought they looked just a little too rubber bandish for me. Tires should be here by Monday so I'll post some more pics when I mount them. My truck is a stepside and it looks like I'll end up having to trim the rear fender lips for peace of mind. I'm pretty sure I'll have to drop it more to be happy with the stance.

Re: '71 Got some new shoes
Well the 20x10's didn't look quite right so I ordered 20x8.5's, still used the 275/40r20's. I definitely need to do something about all that altitude. Maybe a 4/6 soon. I can tell that I already need an adjustable track bar with the drop it has now though and it's bugging the snot out of me.
Here's a before: And After:

Yes they do. Don't tell anyone what you paid for them.

Re: '71 Got some new shoes
I agree. If they look expensive, don't bother correcting someone.

Re: '71 Got some new shoes
Holy bejeezus! Jimbabwe, that looks sick! Thanks!!! Man, that's my new desktop background on my laptop and my phone now. Maybe it'll get a little more than a 4/6 now, lol. I need to ditch the longtubes for some mid-lengths to clear. Awesome!

Re: '71 Got some new shoes
Haha! No problem. It only took two minutes. That's what I'm doing to my stepside right now.
