Question about v belt sizes ?
I bought one of these summit billet alternator brackets and it fits pretty good but my v belt doesn't fit any more . I have a 55 inch before change , now I need a 43 inch belt . My question is will there be a problem losing almost 12 inch in belt size ? I have a Chevy 350 with a lwp . Just wondering if I need to up grade anything or if it will cause problems .Thanks for any answers to this ,
