Wtb qjet electric choke

Looking for a qjet with electric choke to rebuild. Have a very good working divorced choke carb now that I have rigged up with a manual choke, but with cold weather coming on sooner than later I would like to put an electric choke on the truck. I can also make a hot air choke work, but prefer the electric choke. Am not interested in an 80's one that has fuel mixture solenoid or tps.

Would be more inclined to purchase a known good running one as opposed to something someone has tried to cobble together.

Re: Wtb qjet electric choke

Do you happen to have the numbers from the carb? And do you know the history or are they purely rebuild able cores?

Re: Wtb qjet electric choke

You might want to try 66gearhead on E-bay. He does rebuilds on Q-jets following the "Cliff Ruggles" book and sometimes has rebuildable cores available. Purchased one from him earlier this year, quick service and a quality rebuild at a reasonable price.

Heavymetal... Do the ones you have, have the electric choke? And can. I get the numbers off them to compare. Thanks
