That's because I'm old and obscure Tim, and I save everything... Those came on the White '67 shortie when I bought it in 2004.

Re: Different Type Of Vintage Wheel

Well, that's what I was hintin' at,Leon (heh heh?). You and me are no different in that way. I'm a hanger-on,too. Never meant to be,it just happens naturally. Now I know it and I'm glad. I've gotten to a point where (painfully at first) I have been letting some stuff go and it sure hasn't hurt my pocket any. In fact,it's helped me get by while my work load has suffered. I get to some stuff and there's no way I'll let it go. I'm not just talking about parts, either. I'm a gatherer of most anything old,it seems. Although some things were new when I bought 'em!

Well, I guess we are alike in more ways than one. I am either going to have to open a museum or an antique shop.... I guess you must have missed this thread. I even quit posting before I was finished...

Re: Different Type Of Vintage Wheel

I did miss that, somehow. Great stuff, and I'm sure just a small sample. It's funny,I was just having a conversation with the 89 year old woman about my 27 year old trash can (among other things) I've had since I bought my house. I told her I'm a one can man,LOL! She's a real gem and so is the farm she lives alone on. Still drives, burns a fire in the fireplace every night in cold weather, walks around the property every day,and her two daughters and son live in Upstate NY and Northern MA. Very independent still.

Re: Different Type Of Vintage Wheel

I like them. Polish them up put them on the right truck, they would look real good.
