Re: lowest static drop
There is a thread about 2 threads down from the threads in forum box at the top of "The 1960 - 1966 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups Message Board" page. It is full of picks and ride heights.

Re: lowest static drop
From a technical standpoint, the lowest you can realistically drive one of these STATIC would be around a 6/8 drop....although I can't recall anyone who rides that low static. 6/8 would roughly tuck the top 1/2 of the front tire, and put your crossmember in the damage zone. I'm at around 4/6 (a bit more) and my oil pan and crossmember only clear the floor by about 3-1/2"
IMO if you want anything lower than around a 5" drop, get bags. More than about 4" and your gonna be needing to notch the frame in the back. Also, you end up needing enough suspension gear to go that low...ur well on ur way to a bag setup. Spindles and springs are cheap, once you get much past that it gets pricey.

Re: lowest static drop
I'll b throwing mine in soon... Right now my front bumper and control arms r 4.5" from the ground. Ive got to find one more Titan rim and with its tire ill b down another 3/8" on front. My driver fender lip is 25 3/4" from ground w rear lip at 24.5" but have 2" drop hangers getting done for when I put in the notch.

Re: lowest static drop
<--- mine was pretty low static on 22s, rockers 4.5 inches off the ground, but I channeled it so that probably excludes me from fair competition.

Re: lowest static drop
I have a 4.5 front and 5 rear inch drop. I don't have a c notch and have no issues with 5 in the rear. I had it at 6" for about a day and realized I would need a c notch for that.

Re: lowest static drop
Yeah but I'm really close... That's another reason I want to go up to the 18" Titan wheel. It'll get me more scrubline.
