rearend help

can a cab chassis rearend be converted to single wheel instead of narrowing the single wheel axle?

if you are talkin about converting a dually to singles i'm sure it can b done but keep in mind that those brakes were designed to stop 4wheels and tiresand it might overpower single rear wheels as in early lockup which makes swapin ends while breakin a fun experience
