Re: 5" drop rear
Did you order the shock relocator kit also? If not you're going to be unhappy with the ride. The shocks are at an extreme angle and won't work worth a flip. Speaking from experience!! If I were you i would cancel my order of the shocks and get the No Limit Shock relocator and shocks. It rides 100 % better. If you like the 5" drop look but want a good ride, change the springs to 3" drop and get 1 1/2"-2" blocks. I have attached a picture of mine done this way. It is a picture at my daughters wedding but you can see the drop.

Re: 5" drop rear
Nice!
Sir, what's the front drop? I have a GMC long fleet (leaf springs) and just have Early Classic drop shackles in now (2"). I want to go with their lowering springs, which I think is a 4 1/2" drop. I have 2 1/2" drop spindles up front. Hope it comes out looking like yours.... |

Re: 5" drop rear
All I did in front is 2 1/2 drop spindles and stayed with original coils which were in the truck with the six cylinder and I have a small block in there now so probably another inch of drop with weight difference not really sure

Heres mine with 2 inch spndles. 3 inch drop springs in the front
3 inch drop springs in the rear with 3 inch blocks. 5 inch drop springs in the rear won't be much of a ride. good luck

Re: 5" drop rear
I'm about to put the lowered springs, shocks and track bar in the rear, any tips and or tricks to smooth out the install would be great.
