replacing my bench seat

I have decided to scrap my 98 lariat f-150. It has 60/40 leather seats in it that are in good shape and are very comfortable. I'm not near my house now so i have no pictures or measurements yet, but i really want to attempt to put the ford leather seats into my 72 chevy. Anybody here tried something similar?

Re: replacing my bench seat

I didn't follow through with it, but I bought a standard bench seat from a late-model F-150 for my '72. I was able to unbolt the brackets from seat currently in my turck and bolt them right up to the Ford seat. I had to drill some new holes, but it was no big deal.
