All covered up
Ok, so I am looking for some original valve covers with Chevrolet script on top of them. I am finding some of them available but they are not vented. My engine is a 350 with PCV and oil fill/breather in the valve covers. Did Chevy ever make any of these? Or can a set of the non vented kind be drilled and modified to accept pcv and breather? One pic shows the painted covers I want, the other is a pic of what I have now.

You could drill a hole for a pcv grommet in the back of the cover towards the firewall to kind of hide the PCV. But you would still need a breather for the other cover.
The first engine you showed has the breather/oil fill tube in the front of the engine, and might even have a road draft tube coming out the back of the block... like in a 283 or a 327. Gary Gary

I have a set that have been drilled for breathers and oil cap that I got from 67cheby. I'm not going to use them I may make a deal!

I read somewhere that if you drill it for a pcv valve, you need to add a baffle to keep it from sucking oil in and burning it. Any ideas on that?
