Stolen truck......Recovered

Man steals back his stolen truck
Friday, October 3, 2003 Posted: 3:00 PM EDT (1900 GMT)

CRESCENT CITY, California (AP) -- When Joe Francis' truck was stolen, he didn't get mad.
He just stole it back.
Francis was upset when the truck vanished from outside his work Monday -- he didn't have insurance to replace it.
Francis was on his way to Brookings, Oregon, to buy a new car Tuesday when he spotted the purloined truck headed the other way.
He swung around and followed.
"It was pretty lucky on my part and pretty stupid on his part for driving the truck around here," Francis said.
He trailed the truck until the driver parked at a home and went inside.
Francis, armed with a can of pepper spray, slipped into the truck and drove it away.
"I knew the key gets stuck in the ignition, so I figured it would be in there. That's probably why it got stolen in the first place," Francis said.
Francis quickly called the California Highway Patrol, and officers showed up to arrest a Folsom State Prison parolee.

That is proper justice - except I may have taken a baseball bat to the guy's head.

i love it!

why take a baseball bat to the guys head? then there's a chance he doesnt remember what he got beat over the head for. threaten him with beating him over the head, and break his hands with it. he's sure to remember that.

The only problem, he now knows where you work, and the next time he gets out, he will rembember you.

Not a problem either. Keep track of his parole date, and drop by to visit him when he gets out.

Personally I prefer a shot in the knee, and one in the foot with a small caliber pistol. That way when the useless piece of flea crap takes a step, he will be reminded of what he did wrong...

No word on my ride yet. The only way it will be recovered is if (A. someone is stupid enough to drive it around and they run the tags or (B they find it somewhere stripped or whatever. When the officer came and took the report I had pics of it printed out for him to take he wouldn't take them saying it won't matter, he was a di%# to say the least. I'll let you guys know as soon as I hear anything.

Ya'll are too easy on the guy. Thisguy needs to be taken out and in perfect health have him slide down a slide of razors scratching him up from head to toe and at the bottom of the slide is a vat of acid. Not enough to kill him but enough to make him suffer forever.
