1967 c10 swb on a 1970 frame with an 86 front crossmember with drop cups in the lower control arms. I have the Porterbuilt extreme rear drop member 4 link setup.

Re: Can you lay frame on 22'' 9.5w 5.7bs?
Most 8.5 wheels require a 5.25" backspace just to get them inside the fenders.
Nate Porter recommends this size for his Dropmember equipped trucks that are narrowed 1.5" MORE per side because of the Dropmembers narrower track width. You are trying to stuff a 9.5 wheel with a 5.7 bs on a stock width crossmember. If you do the math,... Your wheels are the same as a 8.5 with a 4.7" bs. They will stick out 1/2" more per side, and you still have to deal with the stock crossmember width. The plus for you, is your stock crossmember will make the tires camber way in at the top. This might help,... But I still think they are too wide. If you had a Dropmember and a set of PB narrowed a-arms,... they might work. Posted via Mobile Device

I'm sure you will need the drop spindles also.

Re: Can you lay frame on 22'' 9.5w 5.7bs?
You would have to convert wheel backspace to wheel offset to use that calculator.
That would be a +12 offset for those 9.5" wide wheels. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Can you lay frame on 22'' 9.5w 5.7bs?
A 40 offset will lay body on your setup with a 29in tire on that wheel. You can also turn at a stop light at an inch off the pavement. That will put you like 6.7bs.
