A lot of LS swaper's do the cable setup and it seems to workout ok for them I just like the DBW setup, it's really the way to go for me.. Its only a matter of modifying & mounting the pedal which can be a pain sometimes depending on the car I'm working on. But what I also like about it is that the cruise is only a matter of hooking up a few wires vs. Running an extra box & cable. So on your a/c, you weren't able to use the delphi air compressor that mounts on the bottom right side of the block? I was hoping to be able to with mine, I have been able to use that on all my swaps so far except for a 78 Corvette because of the frame, so we had to go aftermarket.
