cab corners and rocker panels

hi guys i just bought a 1968 chev truck and someone tried welding in cab corners and rocker panels and didnt do a very good job any hints and tips when welding in cab corners and rocker panels and the back window needs replacing any tips on doing that job any help would be great thank you very much

I've not personally done it but will be soon.

Biggest thing is cut the patch to fit the hole as exact as possible.
It does take very low temps from the welder, but don't cold weld it either or you just waste your time. Tack it a lot so you don't get to hot and warp the metal as that is very easy to do.

Pre welding and patch removal braces are a good idea if possible. They will keep any of the cab from moving or shifting.

If someone put panels on wrong take them back off and throw them away ! Order new ones , works best ! Cab corners and rockers on these trucks are not hard to put in ,
