New guy saying hello

Hello all,

I have used info off this site for a while now but have never posted or introduced myself. I figured it would be the right thing to do.

I am an A&P mechanic in Louisville, Ky, and I have a 62' C10 as well as a 64' Cadillac. The C10 was roughly finished all by me and a friend about 2 yrs ago and now it is time for some upgrades.

I love working on these old trucks and cars, as well as riding motorcycles. Just wish I had more time to do so.

My truck is a 62 shortbed, big back window truck on a 65 frame. We installed a crate 350 with a 700r4 trans. I put in new carpet, and had a bench seat reupholstered for it. The paint and body was alsoo done by me and a friend. Looks good from across street. Not a show winner, but a driver.

You guys are a wealth of knowledge and I am planning on learning more from you as I get back into this truck.

Adam

The scoot and the Caddi in last pic aren't mine. But it does look pretty cool in the back of the truck.

Welcome to the forum. Good to see the supervisors on the job in the 2nd photo! Nice looking truck. Do you happen to know the original application of your upper radiator hose? That looks like a great fit.
