My 60 and 64’s

Ha! I wish they were real!

I dusted off my model shelf last night and thought you all might get a kick out of these. I build the ‘60 many years ago as a replica of my grandpa’s truck. Come to find out his truck was dark blue instead of aqua. It was hard to tell from old black and white photos.... Whoops!

The ’60 is a AMT kit from the 90’s while the red ’64 is a Revell kit. The last one is a 1/16 Scale RC truck by Maisto

those are awesome here is a 62 i built a few months ago. the model is actually 50 years old.

Yeah, I saw a picture of that somewhere else around here. Very nice! Looks like the original AMT kit from the 60’s or a dealer promo which were also made by AMT. Those kits are hard to find and drive big money to score. You got lucky with that score!

The models are nicely done, and the outdoor photography really adds a sense of reality to them.
