WTB: Blazer gas tank conversion

I would like to convert my gas tank (1972 C10 stepside) to the under the bed type. I have a chance to buy a brand new steel tank, sending unit, straps and all hardware for 235.00 shipped. I really don't want to spend that much since I also want to do Tennman's conversion for the filler behind the sidelight. If anyone has a good price for one, even partials I could piece together I would appreciate it. Thanks!!!:p

that sounds to be a pretty reasonable price. most vendors on the board sell them for that much. the only way your going to find what you want, is if you go to a junk yard, and around here, they don't have too many 67-72 trucks. mostly 80'ish up.

kilomanjaro,
Can you email me and let me know how you would like payment and how much shipping would be to 92055. I Think I will go with your offer. I need to start this setup soon. Thanks for your patience!! Also, do you have any idea how much it would cost to have the tank and straps powder coated? Thanks again for all of your patience!!!!

Me too

I would be interested in the same deal that jorgensenc just got, about 100, for a whole used setup in good shape.
