Steel floor Hardware

Well I am almost ready to start assembling my bed parts and actually have a truck bed, I have been looking around without any luck as to hardware bolt strength (IE:gr2 gr5 gr8) carriage bolts to assemble my bed with.everything I find is gr2 in zinc coated I guess that would be OK for the 1"X 5/16 bolts but the bolts that secure the bed to the truck, all I can find is gr2 that seems weak. I was checking my original bolts out and if I cant find anything stronger I will try to use my originals as they seem a little higher grade. Anybody notice this or have the same dilemma? Have a source? not really wanting to use stainless.

Re: Steel floor Hardware

there is no need for any type of histrength type fasteners when bolting the bed together or for that fact onto the frame

i just go to the local fastener store and buy stainless stuff// it ispretty much just being able to count the number of empty holes and gettin the proper size and number to fill them/// for people that cannot count and measure there are KITS u can pay shipping on from vendors
