Now Blackbear tuned and sueded headliner
Hey all just wanted to comment on the Blackbear tune for my 06 and post a couple pics of the new graphite suede headliner.
First off, Justin at Blackbear performance is great to work with. I have a06 2wd ECSB with GM cold air intake and a flowmaster muffler. I have future plans of some Obx long tube headers with high flow cats, and possible and cam swap. But I wanted to see what just a tune would do. I did the 87 ocatane tune, slightly firmer shift under light/moderate throttle, and firmer shift under WOT, no torque management, and no speed limit. This is a daily driver so did not want to have to run 93 at this time. This is the BEST mod I have done other than remote start and heated seat! No more muddy feeling shifts, or bog feeling under light throttle changes. Crisp shifts, higher revs, and stronger feeling truck. So much nicer to drive now. I highly recommend this at 200.00 for the tune and a 100.00 core on the pcm - 300.00 bucks well spent. I decided to keep my old pcm. Also, the light color headliner in a otherwise all graphite interior always kinda bugged me so got the headliner and visors done in graphite texsuede sp from yourautotrim.com, and painted the visor clips/trim/console, and dome light frame to match. The pictures make the headliner look way lighter, but in person I promise it almost perfectly matches the dash and a pillar color.

Pretty cool. I hate how these interiors look like crap in pictures. In person all my colors look like they match (charcoal interior as well), but I've posted interior photos of my truck before and every panel looks like it's a different color, so I know what you mean about the color looking good in person but weird in pics.
