Hybrid Top?

Has anyone seen or heard of somebody that has made a hard/soft top combo. I am kicking around the idea of making the sides and rear of my hard top removable? I was going to integrate a roll bar in to the factory top. And somehow make the side bolt on? I haven't even sketched anything out yet. I have also thought about doing the roll bar into the top and having custom soft sides made that use marine zippers to install and remove. Any Idea's on this matter would be great.

Re: Hybrid Top?

ive been thinking of something along that line...... my idea is having a hard top built out of either a c/k10 (shortie top) or a suburban (long top). ive been planning on sketching this out but its been crazy with school, work and the family. But anyway, i just want a hard roof with no sides or rear hatch to give some shade.
