aftermarket third brke lite 73gmc

need a wiring diag or instructions to hookup the wires to the lamps. right now i have the org pwr wire hooked to the 2 wires on the lamps. i have 2 wires ea. on these lamps. 1 is colored the other black. i have the 2 blk wires together. when i turn the hdlite sw knob on, the 2 third lite lamps don't lite but the 2 dome lite lights lite. there is pwr to both wires on the lamps. thanks for help.
