Re: SM465 Help :dum:

I am not sure what you mean by first gear. SM465 has 4 speeds - L (granny), 1, 2, 3. The first gear (L) I have been told is a square cut gear with no synchros, so it is often hard to engage. I would check your clutch adjustment. I need about 1" of the adjustment screw exposed to make my SM45 shift relatively smoothly. Try letting the clutch out in neutral, then try to put it into gear.

When i said first i ment 1, it shifts into low fine, when i bought it the clutch was a little "loose" so i may just pull it and replace whole assembly, is there enough room to push the tranny back or will i have to pull motor since its a 4x4?

Thanks,

Re: SM465 Help :dum:

It should go back just fine if you drop the T-case
