Vin

Hi All,

Just bought a 67, taking it apart and pretty sure most of the body panels including the cab isn't the one that came on the frame. Any chance that GM stamped or put a vin number somewhere on the frame? It's gone from inside the door jam.

Thanks in advance

Re: Vin

There is a partial VIN on the top of the driver side frame rail between the upper control arm and steering gear box. There is the same partial VIN underneath the cab on the top of the frame rail. also check for the spid label in the glove box for a complete VIN.

Re: Vin

Thanks man. I'm in the process of stripping it to the frame. Just way too many rusted panels, by the time I get those pulled, might as well take it to frame and get the frame blasted and coated. Especially living here near the Ga coast. I saw all your pics of yours. I wish I had your welding skills, I'll be spending most of my money paying someone to do that.
