Tranny Swap - 71 Cheyenne Super

I found a great Tremec WC T5(new) to replace the 3-Speed in my 71 Cheyenne. Problem is it was originally bought for a 93 Chevy S-10 (4-cyl) and I don't think my 1971 - 350 V8 bell housing will bolt up to the T5. Can anyone tell me what bell housing I need to look for? Camaro or Firebird or other GM V-8 car used a Tremec T5 transmission. BUT will they mate to the one I have? Anyone got any experience at a T5 tranny swap??

I am anticipating a new clutch and pressure plate, shortening of drive shaft, and maybe a new cross member. Anything else I need to prepare for???

Raymond
