I checked the search button under weight with no success.
Does anyone have any real world weight of a truck similar to mine??? 1976 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd Cheyenne long-bed 350/350 with a/c. All original. Thanks to all who assist here. |

Re: 1976 cheyenne weight
All I know is we are still lighter than the new muscle cars lol the only way to know for sure is have yours weighed. There is so many diffrent options that changed the weight not to mention what mods you may have done

I think it is gonna tip the scales higher, I'm guessing 42-4500 lbs.

If there is a scrap metal recycling yard in your area if they are cool they will let you run across their scales.

Re: 1976 cheyenne weight
For a point of reference my 67 SWB stepper weight in at 3800, a long bed would maybe add 150 to 200. I would say right around 4000.

Re: 1976 cheyenne weight
Mine weighs in at 3840 with one tank on half and me in it. Soon I will have aluminum heads and a glass hood to help the weight. Not to mention a mini starter and aluminum water pump drop weight another 20-25 lbs Would love to push mine to 3500 someday with an ls engine and tubular crossmember and a glassed tailgate
