I like the headlights. I also like the fender without the spare.

Re: My 57 Project

Gas tank is under the bed now and back support of stock bench cut down enough to miss the 'lip' that sticks out under the back window.

Cut out 4". Start to finish about 2 hrs. I'll post pics later. Very happy with the height and look. May look better with fabric on it.

Simmer down ogre. Wife wins. She lets me do what I want so spare tire stays.

Re: My 57 Project

A few updates. Tank has been moved and seat just got back from being redone.

I cut 4" off the seat and love the way it came out.

that was originally a canadian truck, as i have learned on this forum
canadian trucks had the fender mounted spare on the pass side
usa trucks had the spare on the drivers side
canadian tf series is 1300, usa tf series is 3100

or at least the rear fender and spare mount is canadian

Not sure about that. Mine is Canadian built, tire on the driver's side and I bought the truck from the original owner. Never wrecked or modified when I got it.

I'm not making a show truck, but she is coming together nicely.

The bumper really cleaned up the back. I used flat black primer on the tank. very happy with it.

Re: My 57 Project

pics to come soon. Isaac has set in here in Arkansas. new front bumper on to go with the bezels.

FYI: the new electric wiper motor, while a great upgrade, needs one higher speed and is pretty damn noisy. Yes, i'm just nitpicking now.
