z'd frame. radiator will not fit

Does anyone use their original radiator when doing this? I'm trying to figure this part out right now but where everyone Z's the front I don't see a way to use the stock radiator because where the cross member that holds the bottom of the radiator is in the stock position and mine won't fit under the hood. Is there a reason most people don't Z being the radiator cross member? I know that is where the power steering pump goes so I'm guessing that is the reason.
