Wear to drill for amp power
You don't have to tell me how stupid I am because I already know, but my power cable for my amp is currently run behind the FL fender amd through the door seal into the cab, and everytime it rains the interior of my truck is getting wet, smelly, and fogging the windows up. So now I need to do what I should have done in the first place: drill through the fire wall.
My problem is that the only good places I can find to drill I cannot fit my drill in. So does anyone have a good place to drill? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Wear to drill for amp power
I ran mine through the factory harness gromet on the driver side, just get a wire coat hanger and some dish soap, push the coat hanger through from in the cab (being careful not to snag any wires) into the engine compartment then use some electrical tape to attach your power wire (you may have to bend a small hook in the hanger) then lather the wire up in dish soap and carefully pull it through, becareful not rip the gromet, use electrical tape to help seal the power wire to the gromet on the outside of the cab, I did this with 0G wire, hope this helps

Re: Wear to drill for amp power
Thank you so much for your reply. I guess that probably would be a lot easier than trying to drill my own hole. I'll get in there today and check out that option.
