I am trying to post a picture. I resized the picture, but it keeps telling me the file is too large. I am not sure what to do now. Any help would be appreciated.

easiest way to post a pic is to upload it to a web site and use the [img] tags

Does you ISP (your internet provider) give you a web site with your internet subscription, that would be the easiest to use, if not you, you can email me the pic and I'll post it for you

You might try using a photo editing program and reducing the picture size, or converting it to a JPEG file which takes up a lot less space.

Go into paint put whatever pic in there you want to show,
go up to File, then go to Save as, click that and under the place you give the file a name there's a format choice, pick the .jpeg

Here is a link to a program that makes it very easy to resize pics. It is a quick and easy download, and the best part is it's FREE!

When you save pictures, save them as jpegs. Don't use bitmap. Bitmap did not work for me.

Yeah, what he said^^ A bitmap is a .bmp file extension. Huge files when compared to .jpg files.

You can store pictures at www.imagestation.com You will have to sign up. You can then post pics here using the [ img]copy properties here[/img ] tags. Or like barn says infanview is very easy to use and u store the pics.

After you resize check the properties on your pic and make sure it meets these requirements.
Attach file:
Maximum size: 102400 bytes
Valid file extensions: gif jpg png txt zip bmp jpeg wav
