Finally got my 4x4!

I just went and picked up this new addition to the family this last weekend from wyoming. Paid a whopping $250 for it.

It's a '72 GMC super custom 4x4. I got the entire truck minus the engine, although most of the body is shot. But here she is...

Another "ranch raisin" finds a new home.
When I drug my 4x4 out of Wyoming the previous owner - a good friend of mine who lived in WY for a good 10 years - said those dented up trucks were called ranch raisins.

I like it.

I believe scrap iron is at about $300 per ton right now, so the fact that anyone can buy a 2-ton vehicle for $250 is pretty amazing!
