Ok...so I'm looking around at dropped spindles. I see everyone sells a 2.5" dropped spindle except for bell tech which sells a 3" dropped spindles. I also read somewhere that bell tech spindles cause some issues? I don't really want to pay the extra 130 bucks for the .5" the bell tech spindles offer...but if they are worth it I will.

I have dropped spindles from DJM Suspension for my truck and they are 3" drop. They cost $186 for the pair.

This is straight from the guy at Early Classic Enterprises (over the phone)

He said, sometimes, with a 3 inch drop spindle, the lower control arm can interfere with the inside of the wheel rim. It strictly depends on the wheel's backspacing and diameter. A wheel bigger than a 15 will usually clear irregardless of back spacing, but some 15s won't clear. You then have to grind a little on the lower control arms to alleviate the rubbing.

That said, I have lowered a ton of 88-up trucks with spindles, and you always need to grind the control arm on those trucks so they don't rub the wheel. No problems ever (done probably 12-15 of these trucks personally).

I've only run 2 1/2 inch spindles on 67-87 trucks however, and never experienced any problems. I just put a set of ECE spindles on a couple of days ago. They are 2.5 ones, fit perfectly.
