i have a set of towers and mounts from a 73-87 small block truck. im gonna try to use them to put my 402 in my 69 c10 that was a small block truck. any one ever try this? how did it work out? my buddy put a 454 in his 84 suburban that came with a small block and it bolted in without changing the towers. im also trying to keep the three on the tree set up with the crossmember that goes under the bellhousing. i seen a factory 69 c10 short bed with a 396 and three on the tree on youtube i loved it.
