file sizes
OK I finally realized my pictures were too big to post. Reset camera and I now know how to make them smaller in the computer. But when I try to post it still says file too large. 1st question how do I make file smaller? 2nd question, do you have to post pictures to a website, cant I post a picture directly? Really want to know how to do this, without askin someone else to post my picture. Thanks

open your picture on your computer, then double click on it, that *should* open what ever photo manipulation program you have loaded in your computer. Then make your pic smaller, save it, then follow jef5150's instructions to get them on these pages.

After you resize be sure to save it as that size. Then be sure that you post the resized pic. Send a resized pic to someone and they can tell you what the problem is.

I just open my pics in the "Paint" program, go to "image" and then to "stretch/skew" them change the hor and vert to a smaller # than 100 (for mine it likes "75". Then go to "image" and "attributes" make sure attributes reads under 640X480. Then go to "file", "saveas" and make sure you save it as a .jpg file not a .bmp then I always save my files to a certain folder so I know where to find the new pics. Then you can post that file like you have been. Email me the pic and I will tell you what is wrong.

Here's a link to a free download program that makes it very easy to resize photos, it's a good program to have, and very easy to use. http://www.irfanview.com/
