Re: Cream puff

Alot of really clean trucks up in that area. That's where I found my 79 454 many years ago. I was surprised how clean and rust free it was considering the amount of rain they get up there. The nice part from what I've seen up there is the plastic, vinyl, and rubber parts don't take a beating like they do down here in AZ.

North West is a really good area to find some clean vehicles.

Re: Cream puff

I´d love to buy that and can´t believe the price!
Is that some kind of printing error?
This would really be worth getting to germany and keep it in original shape!

When I was visiting family in Portland, OR I made a comment to a guy who had a 1979 K10 that was rust free about who had restored it for him. He gave me a weird look and said,"Can't rust if it don't dry out." True enough I guess. LOL.

Nah, these squares in solid shape are pretty common West of the Mississippi and sell pretty cheap all the time.

It's when you get East of the Mississsippi where the price jumps for a solid example

I'm originally from Ohio so I grew up with my fair share of cancer inflicted sheetmetal. I was still actually living in Ohio when I flew out to buy my 79 pickup in Battle Ground, Washington, then drove it home. Had it ever since and brought it back out West with me several years ago when I moved.

I've had people ask me when it was restored. They are always shocked when I tell them that's the original paint on the truck

Comparing with US prices will only get you down Volker
What we pay for trucks here in Europe is insane when you start to think about it, I´ve seen trucks like that advertised for the equalent of 12000€ here in Sweden, and they have sold.
