slapper bars??
so i was thinking of putting a set of slapper or traction bars on my truck, i have a few quick questions do they limit my wheel travel?, and can i still haul trailers with them on?

Do you want them for looks or are you really looking to improve traction? If your after function there are much better ways to get there.

little of both, and I'm doing a budget build thought they would be a good way to improve my handling, what better ways are their?

This is what I would run, CalTracs! You will keep the range of motion, are adjustable and they hoookup good. Give it a look, I know they are more expencive, but much better than slappers!

They have allot of adjustment and should work just fine if you let them know what you have. There are also some threads and web sites that show you how to make your own, If you are bold and daring enough to try. If I didnt convert to trailing arms I would have a set, I think they are the best option for leafs on the market.
