new to me 74 C-10
I kept telling myself I wasn't going to buy anything else until I finish my 71 and 92 GMC's. That didn't work too well!
Saw this truck sitting on my way to work with a for sale sign $1100.00 OBO, a couple days later it said $900.00 OBO. Curiosity got the best of me and I had to stop and look. Ended up buying it for less than half of what He had on the sign. 74 Chev long box, started out life as a 6-cyl auto. Somebody put a 350 in it, did a pretty good job, it's not all Mickey Moused together like some I have seen. It even has the owners manual and spid sheet. The good, 350, auto, dual exhaust, runs and drives nice. The not so good, hood, fenders, doors and above the rear wheels have rust, needs some brake work The real bad, looks like it was painted with a roller, inside smells like an old wet dog, and that ugly can-o-pee on the bed has got to go! Here's a couple of pics: |
