Stupid marker light question.
This even sounds stupid to me as I type this......
On a 1968 GMC...I am installing new "lighted" side markers ....question is....which way do the lighted sides face? Towards the front and back ones towards the tailgate.....or just the opposite? In the pic below...I have them towards the front....is this right? |

To me it looks better.That is the way I had mine until I changed lites.

I removed mine and smoothed the fenders over.

That's how mine are on my '72, and I'm almost positive that's original. Great question, actually.
