Cab brace simple question

I'm getting ready for some sheetmetal work on my cab, and is there any particular metal pieces I can get from lowes/home depot to weld a cross brace for the cab?
Just regular ol'? Or any particulars?

I'm not sure about your area but here they are truly insane for the price they ask for metal stock

Re: Cab brace simple question

If you're looking for bracing to keep the cab aligned while repairing, you should be able to find a local metal supplier that will cost less than half what HD or Lowes will get.Even NT is higher than th industrial supply down the street from me.Just look in the yeller pages.
