Bucket Seat dilemma

I bought a 95 Chevy regular cab 4X4 that has bucket seats and console from another pickup or suburban and the seats are power. Dilemma; the wires are not hooked up to the seats and they cut the wires about 3 inches to the good side of the plug and play connection so I still have the plug. Now do I find a truck or suburban that has the wires going to were ever they go or do I splice them in and if so what are they for and where do they go? Basic electrical would tell me theres a Hot and a Neg but what is the other wire to? I sure somebody has been down this road before me.
