Re: Never seize on spark plugs

I use it on all spark plugs, especially aluminum heads.

Re: Never seize on spark plugs

Its completely not neccessary to use anti sieze on spark plugs. The factory doesnt on any spark plug regardless of the material of the cylinder head. The antisieze will foul a spark plug. Its way more important to use the proper spark plug for the application.

Everyone says that until they pull spark plugs in an aluminum head and watch the threads of the head come out with it Steel and aluminum don't mix well together, causes some metalergic reaction that creates corrosion when in contact with each other for long periods of time.

If it's been years since they've been removed,,,,,good luck.

Using them on a steel head also isn't a bad idea. If you are fouling plugs,,,you're putting too much on. Anti seeze is only meant for the threads, not the electrode.
