Any ideas what this might go to??

I've got a 1981 K20 Camper Special. I got under the dash and found this little guy hanging around and didn't know where it's supposed to connect to. It's a blue and brown wire terminating to the white plug. I looked under the dash and within reaching distance of this thing and didn't notice any obvious mates to it. I haven't noticed anything "out" or off. Any help would be appreciated.

No that is the end that goes to the cruise lever up the column. The hole in the end is for a fish wire to pull it when the lever is replaced. The female plug is under the dash close to the bottom of the column
