Right front seat In panel truck
Trying to run back thru memory banks here. My Panel truck use be granfathers and I think when we where going on vacation trips the right front seat would flip foward to allow easier acces to rear, where I got to ride. For 500 or so mile trips to Florida. Amazing as it may seem made it w/o any video screens that are the have to have for kids nowdays.
This was when I was between 4 and about 10 years old. So yea I might be just thinking that how I got into back without stepping on anything I shouldn't,especailly in my grandfathers truck. If anyone know what originally cam in truck let me know. Im figureing to put something of this style in it anyway. Sincwe the 40 yearolds I know can't exert them selves to much to get in and ride a while..

Re: Right front seat In panel truck
My panel had the flip seat on the passenger side. Both seats were reupholstered in a nice tan color. They weren't part of the deal when I bought the panel, but were available for extra dough. Ill be running a split bench so I passed.

Re: Right front seat In panel truck
I understand that the right side seats were an option, however mine had one but it wasn't on the Spid.

Re: Right front seat In panel truck
I have an older one (1950) and the pass side is there, flips forward and was an option. I think Gm kept it like this for years.

Re: Right front seat In panel truck
The floor panels as you know are different on a panel truck. If you are looking to install a flip forward seat, I simply cut the floor section at the seat mount, from another style truck and attached it to the floor of the panel. I then simply put in 1972 blazer buckets and hardware.
