Lmc inner fenders (good or no good)
I was thinking about getting some LMC inner fenders for my 84 k10, but I wasn't sure if they were any good. I know what everybody says about aftermarket sheetmetal and how it usually fits like crap. Anybody out there that can share some of there experiences would be apprecitaed. Thanks!!!

Re: Lmc inner fenders (good or no good)
I put an LMC inner fender on the passenger side earlier this year because the battery had caused it to rust out. It is made in Taiwan, but fit great. I didn't have to modify any of the mounting holes, it bolted up like the stock one. It has a nice semi gloss black finish that is holding up so far. This is on a 78 suburban by the way.

Re: Lmc inner fenders (good or no good)
A local body shop got me some. They are CAPA certified Keystone IIRC. They fit better than I thought they would, all the bolt holes lined up and didn't have to slot any of them.

Re: Lmc inner fenders (good or no good)
I used LMC inner fenders, no complaints, holes lined up good. Don't expect them to be as heavy gauge as the originals.*

I put a set of good marks in and the fit was not that good.

I do have to say, these are a touch thinner metal than the stock ones, and the plus side... The Fortune cookie in the bottom of the box said I was gonna win the lottery.... Jury is still out on that one...
