driveshaft lengths- SWB ???
I have two, one piece, driveshafts here that are BOTH marked (by me), and i don't usually make mistakes in my labeling but here they are. These were BOTH supposedly from a SWB with TH350, but i suspect the shorter one from a 700R4 truck. ONe could also be from an older truck with 12 bolt because the pinion to center distance IS different than a 10 bolt. ANYONE with an older truck and 12 bolt?? measure for me. thanx, crossy
#1 is 52" weld to weld and 55-1/2" from center of u-joint to center of u-joint. #2 is 55-1/4"weld to weld and 58-3/4" from center of u-joint to center of u-joint.

Re: driveshaft lengths- SWB ???
My 74 SWB with a TH350 short tail(6in)/12 bolt rear has a 59.5in drive shaft measured center u-joint to center u-joint. My neighbors truck is a 84 SWB with a 700R4/10 bolt has a 55.5in drive shaft measured same way.
