I put my kid to work

I dyed my carpet, put in my radio delete plate and had my son put my wheels on. I'm getting ready for the All Truck Nationals in Kansas City, anybody who lives close should try to make it.

Re: I put my kid to work

Can't wait to get my kid to work on mine. He's only two though and benefits small places where my banana hands can't reach! It'll be his one day so I want to teach him the importance of hard work. Just the way these people that built them 40 years ago did when they put them together the first time. Good luck with the show.

Re: I put my kid to work

Nice truck Mike. Sometimes I wish I had a 70-72 model like yours so I wouldn't be going thru the conversions. But I enjoy it, and pays off in the end. Maybe next year I will see you up at Nationals if I get my truck up to par. If not, maybe I will make it just as a spectator.

Your truck looks more than up to par to me, I like it. Thanks for your service, are you still in Afganistan? I have a buddy of mine over there driving a truck.

Re: I put my kid to work

Yeah, still in Afghanistan. The truck still looks pretty good. Has a few bubbles in the paint that cracked. I just want to get a 700r4 in it before I drive it that far. The 400turbo acts a little funny and push's fluid out the dipstick sometimes. Plus I plan on squaring a few other things away. There is always something to do though, so eventually I just got to let the world see it.
