FrameVin number help
I need help with my vin number of my 1964 Chevy k10 the vin number on the cab checks out as what it should be but there is also a number on the frame just under the back of the cab on the drivers side this number is 3820303 12 6 24 78. Is this the original frame or was this truck mounted on a later model frame?

Re: FrameVin number help
ok if that # is on top of the frame rail then it is probably form a 78(?), check your frame if it has a 78 frame the cab mounts will show signs of modification, and the front frame horns should be modified too to fit the 60-66 bumper..
you should not be able to see the rear top 64 vin # on top of the frame rail with the cab on.
