i have a th350 with 3.73 and I just down sized from 305/40/22 to a 275/60/15 the downsize isnt horribly bad, then again its only been 3 days.

I'm gonna drive it for a little while before i decide what route to go tranny wise.

I have a comp xe268 with vortec heads....

I've run that exact tire and rear gear for years. That's a 28" tall tire and with the 3.73's I find it very comfortable. 65 mph is ~2800 rpms.

9"with a 3:82 with a 28" tire 3500verter 4k down the freeway.

79 stock block 3052B -350 tranny rear end is a 3.4 locker
