65 chevy c10 transmission swap
Hello all,
I just purchased a very nice 65 c10, 230 for my son. It appears to have a Saginaw 3 speed and I have Muncie 3 speed w/OD including all the parts (governor, solenoid, cabling etc.) from a 65 El Camino. Is this a straight bolt-up? Forgive me for my ignorance.... |

should be able to bolt it up, are you sure is a Muncie and not a saginaw 3 speed with OD?
I'm converting mine right now from a saginaw non syncro to a saginaw syncro OD. having to modify the shift linkage rods, and shorten the driveshaft.

Nope...it's a muncie out of an El Camino. I'm hoping to find someone who had a factory version of this in their 65 so I can get the precise location of the lever in the cab. I've never seen one so I have no clue.....thanks for the reply
