Upper hatch rust treatment/prevention thread
There was a great thread here a while back about removing and treating the upper hatch. Guys were talking about taking the hatch off, dumping all the dirt and rust flakes out, and then putting some rust inhibitor and/or paint inside and sloshing it around. I've finally got the time to do this but I just can't find the thread. Anybody else remember it?

Re: Upper hatch rust treatment/prevention thread
Found it. "Hatch hinge seal" was the thread. It didn't have as many replies on it as I thought I remembered, but it has the one I want. The Tim240Z technique is the one I was interested in. Not complicated, probably really messy.
If I was a smarter man I would have realized I was subscribed to the thread. |
