67-72 brake pedal into my 55?
Hey guys, picked up a brake pedal assembly from a 70 pickup, and am gonna use it to fab into my 55 to do a firewall booster install. Anyone taken this on with this setup? Any advice? Pics?

I used one here are some pics, if yours is a second series I can help, if it is a first series no can do.
What I did first was to cut the firewal side first then trim the front and made a u-shaped plate for front mount on the dash and rectangle shape for the firewall and hole sawed that to match the brake booster. I capped the end that dash board side with some 1/4 plate I used this only cause I had laying around in the garage 3/16 or ten gauge would work also. I did this so it wouldn't flex at dash and provide more weld surface on u-shape portion. look at the pics maybe you can see what I am trying to explain.
